Eyesite and Thirst Trap return to The Cooly Hotel for theIr annual Summer Smackdown!

Last year was massive and both bands have continued to shine releasing new music and putting on killer shows throughout 2024. 

Eyesite, have created a sound that is heavy hitting to the parts you love touched most! Tweed grunge-rock locals are building a strong underground following and capture the raw sound of teenage angst. Their latest single, ‘Sweat It Out’ has quickly become a crowd favourite and the boys are keen to be able to play it for their local audience.

Thirst Trap, the electrifying 5-piece from Australia’s Byron Bay/Northern Rivers, boasting a distinctive sound that sets them apart. With a genre-defying approach, they seamlessly blend Hip-Hop rhythms, Heavy Rock, and reggae infusions, showcasing their versatile musical palette. Thirst Trap's live performances are a must-see, delivering an unforgettable experience that resonates with the energy and dynamism of their unique sound.

Eyesite’s raw, grungey sound along with Thirst Trap’s party vibes complement each other like lemon on a watermelon – it just works and the perfect taste for summer.
